As an Arts student, you are eligible to take up to 15 credits per term for a total of 30 credits over the Winter Session.
If you wish to take more than one 6 credit course over the Winter Session, you must submit a credit load adjustment request form.
The standard credit limit for the Winter Session is 15 credits per term. Balancing a full course load is challenging, so a credit increase is not usually recommended, particularly if you work or have other responsibilities. If you choose to take a credit increase, you are not eligible for academic concession for issues related to the increased workload.
Adding 6 Credit Courses to a Saved Schedule
Because all full year courses are classified under Term 1 in Workday, adding a 6 credit course may push your displayed Term 1 course load to 18 credits, even though you would actually be enrolled in 15 credits.
